Blanc page when installing com_joomla_smf_1_1_4_2

Hi,

I installed the com_joomla_smf_1_1_4_2, this goes well, but if I go to the component i got a blanc page, also my webpage doesnt work anymore

I was lucky I made a backup of my sql, so I could return everything back to usual.

Can anybody help with this problem?

My site is http://www.berggeit.nl and my forum is http://www.berggeit.nl/forum/
Both installed on the same database, username and password.

when you go to the component is vague.  On the frontend or in administration?  And did the patches complete successfully?

If I go in administration and than to components -- > smf --> configuration, than i get a blanc page

Also my frontend (internet page) is completely blanc

Besides now I uninstalled the component, so my visitors have acces to my site..

I don't know what web server I use, where can I find this?
I use this hosting: http://webhosting.lycos.nl/
php 4 en 5
Client browser: internet explorer 6 /7

You need a administrator login?
