Problems with registering on Joomla and smf

Hi

I have installed joomla-smf 1.1.4.2 and now people can register however when they goto login on either joomla or smf it says the user does not exist. also when I log into smf as admin it redirects to the joomla home page. Any help on this would be great.

Hi Just an update.

I can now get people to register on joomla and smf but the users that were already registered in joomla can't log in to either joomla or smf is there anyone out there can help with this as I need to get this fixed ASAP.

1- Did you patch both the SMF files AND Joomla files during the Joomla-SMF component installation ?

2- If not working, remove previously installed users then register them again.
