PM popup is not working

I noticed that 'Show a popup when you receive new messages?' is not working any more.

OK, let me rephrase I have 'Show a popup when you receive new messages?' CHECKED in SMF 'Notifications and Email' however when I receive a message I don't get any New message popup.
