I'm really desperate here, I had 1.1RC1 and Joomla 1.0.5 running like a charm for several months. Integration worked great, no problems at all. Couple of minor issues with SMF made me think it was time to upgrade to 1.1RC2. What a bad move!
Unpatched everything, installed 1.1RC2 upgrade, performed upgrade. Installed joomla 1.0.8. Uninstalled bridge and module, reinstalled latest 1.1 bridge with 1-3 patches, installed 1.4 smf login module. Applied patch.
Now when i attempt to login i get "You are not authorized to view this resource" error. Even unpatchign SMF i cannot login via smf direct until I copy the 1.1rc2 files over again, it seems the patch is not doing something correctly.
its a joomla 1.0.8 problem I believe. There is a thread in these forums about it... srry, don't have time to link you. Joomla 1.0.8 had some problems that they released a patch to fix.
actually, i think i have it working. I didn't see there was a version of the bridge with Patch4. I installed this version and it's functioning again. I'll check into the 1.0.8 patches tho. I'll ask rey what the patch relates to. Cheers.
I checked the patches for joomla 1.0.8 and don't see anything there that would affect teh bridge. The login module is replaced by your one here, so that fix would do no good. Keep up the good work
