I get the next error when trying to configure the Joomla-SMF Forum Component, whe i have to patch SMF source files.

"Failed: C:/wamp/www/Joomla_1.0.8/foro_smf7/Themes/default/xml_topic.js file or the parent path is not writeable!".

But xml_topic.js doesn't exist. What is the problem??.
Can i work correctly without complete the configuration?

if xml_topics.js doesn't exist then you haven't read the requirements.  SMF 1.1RC2 is required.
