Urgent: SSI
« on: November 01, 2006, 01:30:01 AM »

I wanted to know if it is possible to just use SSI ONLY. I get permission errors and such, and I am getting hit with duplicate content penalties by the search engines because because index.php?com_smf or wahtever can bring them to the same pages as /forums.

Can I just uninstall the bridge and use SSI to show the latest posts, login box, and who's online? I can'tseem to find a module to put php in my template.

That gets rid of the duplicate content penalties, but the index.php?option com_smf url still exists. Is there a way I can just use SSI instead as a module?

So there is no way I can use SSI and put the php code into my template? Is there a php module that can allow you to put php in?

Or better yet, is there a way for the latets post and login box to point to the real SMF url /forums/index.php instead of http://homebrewhowto.com/component/option,com_smf/ ?
